Get to know Nurse Practitioner, Ellen Caughman, who serves patients in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

A competent registered nurse, Ellen is affiliated with Signify Health providing services in the Myrtle Beach and surrounding areas in South Carolina. The mission of Signify Health is to transform how healthcare is paid for and delivered so people can enjoy more healthy, happy days at home. Before embarking on her professional journey, she graduated with her Associate’s degree in 2003 from Horry Georgetown Technical College. She began practicing as a registered nurse providing care to patients with her primary area of experience in labor and delivery. She continued her education by obtaining her Bachelor’s degree from Kaplan University in 2017.  Thereafter, she went on to complete her Master’s degree (Nurse Practitioner Program) from Purdue University Global in March of 2020. She didn’t stop there! She continued her education and obtained her Doctorate degree in June of 2021 from Purdue University Global with a 4.0 average for her terminal degree in nursing. She was inducted into several honors societies including Alpha Beta Phi, Alpha Alpha Alpha, and Sigma Theta Tau just to name a few.
